Spook Identity Card
Here is Spook. He is one of Bubo's sons. He has the most kissable tummy in the world. Spook loves people. When he knows someone's there, he comes running to you like a puppy, all excited! And to compensate for his poor eyesight, he weaves his head, left to right, sometimes his whole body sways. That is just so cute! He is a very endearing rat!!


Spook 31/05/2001 - 29/07/03

Spook always was a bit weak in the lungs, his whole life he battled on and off with respiratory infections. He has lost this one. It was the last one and we could not bear to see him suffer. This last night he began gasping. I gave him a nebuliser treatment with a bronchodilator, but it failed to bring him relief. So we had no choice left. We had to say goodbye to our sweet old man.

Spook was the people's rat, a great rat ambassador. He was a cuddly bear and I will always miss him. A big mummy's boy he was. I thought my heart would never mend after he left us... And months later, it still hurts when I think about him. He will always live in our hearts and memories.
