RIP King George 05/01/05 - 24/09/06
Our poor George lost a battle with a facial abscess. He is very sorely missed. :*(

King George came to live with us in July 2005. He is a rescue boy, he came from a home where he was never taken out or handled. The people who looked after him were afraid of him because he was a "biter". When we went to get him, he was so scared that he screamed when I picked him up to put him in my carrier. On the way back home we bought some heavy gardening gloves and once we got home, we let him out in a playpen on the bed. He was neutered 2 days later, which helped him calm down and settle in better and also allowed him to live with his harem of girls. I got bitten but I think I startled him, soon after we got him, we realised that King George was totally deaf. No wonder he bit!
He has grown to be a lovely lad. He is a very gentle boy and so very loveable :)
