Buddha: The boy with the tummy
Now Buddha, he is also one of Bubo's sons. He loves to sit with his bum propped against the edge of the hammock as you can see below. That's how he won the name Buddha. He loves playing with the girls (both he and Spook are neutered!!). He is also independent and industrious. I think he is operating a small business out of the laundry basket.

Buddha 31/05/2001 - 17/12/03

We had to let our sweet Buddha go on a grim wednesday afternoon... With old age, he became ill, lost lots of weight, and we suspect he had a pituitary tumour, like his mother Bubo, his two sisters who lived up in Shropshire and then his brother Skippy who lived with Trouble in Hampshire. He did ok on steroids for awhile, eating soft foods and cuddling a lot. He also enjoyed sitting in his box under the coffee table. But that Wednesday, sadness overcame us when we decided to give him an early Xmas present, the gift of Freedom. He was not having fun anymore that day and we made the difficult decision to set him free of his ailing, broken body.

Buddha we will always remember you, our sweet little thief. We love you, sweet dreams baby boy... :*(
