Alfie is a rescue boy who came to live with us in October 2006. He was described by the people who gave him to us as unhandleable and shy. He did scream a lot when we first got him. He also had health problems and mites. The person who had him was nervous of handling him and so he lacked contact but he really loves his humans! He was neutered and after long intros, thanks to Callista who made things difficult, (at first he screamed as soon as she got near him and then climbed and sat on our head) he finally lives with everyone else and settled in incredibly well. He is now cage alpha and acts like he owns the whole house and he has a huge personality! He is another deaf husky which was very odd as he came to us so soon after we lost George. Alfie is a very grumpy boy at times but he is licky and cuddly and he also is very busy and active, he loves foraging around the house, looking for things to do every night at play time, always interested in everything. He is a happy boy and the change he has undergone since he first came here is remarkable. Oh and his coat is lush and he smells of pistachio. We love Alfie!
